We are looking for a skilled remote Azure Data Engineer to join our growing team.
Dare to have a mission:
- Design, implement, and manage data solutions using Microsoft Azure Data Platform services such as Azure Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Data Factory, Databricks, and Synapse Analytics.
- Develop and maintain Synapse architecture, notebooks, and data engineering pipelines.
- Ensure seamless connectivity and integration across various data services and platforms.
- Monitor and optimize running costs for data solutions within the Azure ecosystem.
- Write and maintain complex SQL queries and scripts.
- Provide expertise in Microsoft SQL Server and Azure SQL variants, including product knowledge and best practices.
- Utilize Microsoft Fabric for data integration and processing tasks.
- Potentially create data visualizations using Power BI to support business needs.
- Leverage Python Pandas and Apache Spark for data analysis and processing.
- Design and implement ETL/ELT processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Apply dimensional modeling techniques for efficient data organization and retrieval.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and analytical capabilities to address complex data challenges.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.
The tools in your backpack:
- +4 years of experience with Microsoft Azure Data Platform, including Azure Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Data Factory, Databricks, and Synapse Analytics.
- In-depth knowledge of Synapse architecture, notebooks, data engineering, connectivity, and cost management.
- Proficiency in SQL, with the ability to write and maintain complex queries.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft SQL Server and Azure SQL variants.
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric.
- (Optional) Experience in data visualization using Power BI.
- Proficiency in Python Pandas and Apache Spark.
- Expertise in ETL/ELT processes and dimensional modeling.
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities.
- (Preferred) Domain knowledge in Logistics and ESG/CSRD.
