We are seeking a skilled CMM Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) measurement. This role is ideal for an engineer with hands-on experience in CMM operations, quality and visual inspection processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and manage CMM machines to perform precise measurements and ensure accurate data collection.
- Develop, implement, and optimize measurement programs for CMM inspections.
- Analyze and interpret CMM data to provide actionable insights for quality control.
- Perform visual inspections on parts and components as necessary to validate measurements.
- Maintain and troubleshoot CMM machines, ensuring they operate at peak performance.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and production teams to ensure measurement results meet project and quality requirements.
- Document inspection results, methodologies, and calibration activities in line with company standards.
The tools in your backpack:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Relevant experience could be an alternative to the engineering degree
- At least 3 years of proven experience with CMM machines and measurement software.
- Solid knowledge in visual inspection techniques and quality assurance processes.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills for clear documentation and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in programming CMM machines or measurement automation.
- Knowledge of industry standards for quality and measurement.
